I'm a middle-aged photographer who dodged the classroom and learned everything the hard way: by shooting in the wild, fixing what broke, and refusing to pick up a book. My work sits where grit meets grace — combat sports, moto culture, urban portraits, and the natural world.

Unconventionally trained through late-night shoots and a stack of busted gear that taught me what's important. I shoot with purpose and patience, favoring practical techniques that get results under real-world pressure — low light in a dingy gym, golden hour in a rusted lot, pre-dawn in a duck blind, or the precise split second when a punch lands and everything else freezes.

Clients hire me for straightforward storytelling and images that don't apologize. Outside the camera I'm a hunter, a fisherman, and a biker — which means I'm already comfortable in the places most photographers won't go. Whether it's a fight card, a back-country trail, or a stretch of water nobody else knows about, I'll be there before the light is right and stay until it's gone.
